Theon Cross is a London based tuba player/ composer, and is considered one of the most exuberant and unique instrumentalists today. He has made a name for himself for providing his own brand of swaggering tuba bass in jazz and various other styles of music. He is most recognisable as a member of the award winning four-piece Sons of Kemet. Additionally, he has worked with a range of well known musicians including Courtney Pine, Jon Batiste & Stay Human, Pharoe Monch, Emile Sande and Kano. On top of his collaborative work, he skilfully leads his own powerful and eclectic group, The Fyah. Their music explores the diverse range of musical sounds of London through his compositions.
